Our standard

How qualified is FL Golf Academy?

Kegan is a fully qualified Head PGA Professional. To obtain a PGA licence you must first reach a strong enough playing standard — better than 95% of golfers. Then it is a 3-year degree studying all areas of golf including coaching, sport science, custom fitting, club building and much more. Many pros stop studying at this stage.

Not Fairway Legends. We believe in lifelong learning and continuous professional development. As a minimum, the professional team will always be studying and working towards accreditation in one new area of specialism at all times.

We have found that collaborative learning is the most effective process for us — our three professionals assign time to studying together every week. That means you get consistent advice of the highest possible quality from whoever you work with.

FAQs about tuition

What technology do you use?

We use Trackman technology to ensure we are getting the best data possible — including in the Hermitage Works Performance Studio.

Who is best to book with?

All three of our Pros are highly qualified. Kegan is only available on Wednesdays and you must book a package of 5.

How many lessons do I need?

It depends. We are not going to tell you that you need one every week. The way we teach, we want you to practise and groove in good habits before coming back for the next one. Most players should have a lesson every month.

What is the best possible value?

Our packages of 5 and 10. Every package gives you a free on-course assessment to ensure what we are working on on the range is working on the course. We also offer a Performance Studio package.
